I know many of you will be visiting New York for the holidays so make sure you add The Polo Bar at Ralph Lauren to your must visit list.  It doesn’t open until next week but if it’s anything like the Ralph Lauren restaurants in Chicago and Paris, it will be a hit. The New York Times got a sneak peek and calls it “clubby” and “aglow with amber light and dense with equestrian paintings and trophies.” Sounds about right for Ralph Lauren who himself says of the restaurant, “It was not my idea to be trendy. I don’t want to be the hot restaurant. I want to be the restaurant you want to go to twice a week.”
