Chic Shopping: Escada at Nordstrom

The next two months are going to be filled with travel, holidays, and special events.  You don’t want to leave your wardrobe planning to the last minute and neither do I.  That’s why I’m picking out what to wear from the modern and elegant collection from Escada at Nordstrom. I can only shop online at Nordstrom right now but I can’t wait until their store opens in New York in a few years.  They are known for carrying the best brands and styles. But luckily for all of us online shoppers, Nordstrom offers free shipping and returns.

I’m always looking for dresses with sleeves for winter events in cold New York.  The Devana Ruched Jersey Dress (above) not only has long sleeves but a bright color that will help me stand out in a sea of black dresses.

I’m off to Art Basel in Miami in December and how fun would this Escada Paisley Print Shift Dress look while checking out the art?!

There is even a Paisley Print Jacquard Topper in the reverse color scheme that I could wear over the dress.

Every woman needs a little black dress but a plain black dress can be boring.  I love this Escada Windowpane Wool Blend Sheath Dress as an alternative.  It has an amazing shape and would be perfect with a pair of red pumps for a pop of color.

Holiday entertaining at home calls for something stylish but comfortable. I can’t think of anything that would fir the bill better than this Escada Leather Belted Jacquard Knit Cardigan.

I would pair the cardigan with these chic black Tonisa Dondi Straight Leg Jersey Pants from Escada7-nordstrom-escada-embellished-gown

Winter is also charity gala season in New York and many other cities.  This great black Escada Embellished Column Gown is a dress that will definitely stand the test of time.

But if you really want to wow everyone, I suggest this knock out red Escada One Shoulder Side Draped Column Gown. Now do you see why I love Nordstrom so much?!
