Chic in Paris: Le Flandrin
by habituallychic
09 . 24 . 14Fashion week has begun in Paris and all the Instagram photos have me slightly regretting not returning to the City of Light to attend. Although, I’m sure my Air France flight would have been cancelled so it’s probably for the best. When I do go back, the first place on my must visit list is Le Flandrin. The renowned restaurant in the 16th arrondissement has just received a refresh from Joseph Dirand who also recently revamped Monsieur Bleu. The brasserie is located in a railway building and has been operated by the same family since it opened in 1932. The Art Deco interiors are now modernized with geometric patterned floors, mustard yellow velvet upholstery, warm brass, and smoky mirrors. The menu has also received an update from new chef Olivier Denis. It’s so chic that it has me contemplating a last minute flight. Le sigh.
