With the exchange rate between the Dollar and the Euro, it’s not easy to find a bargain in Paris. Although, I look forward to trying when the sales start later this month. I did however find one amazing bargain in the Palais Royal of all places.
I was cutting through the Passage du Perron and found a little jewelry shop on one side, Marie-Odile Bijoux. The best thing about stores here is that the list the prices of pieces in the window. The grey and white pearl earrings (above on a old book I found along the Quai) were only 29 Euros each. They come in a few other sizes and her selection of other jewelry is extensive. I will definitely be going back again.
The owner does not speak any English or take credit cards so keep that in mind before you visit. And no she doesn’t have a website. Bonne chance!
