Chinese Puzzle

I had planned another post today but last minute errands and meetings have me tied up. I’m going to work on that one later and instead tell you about a fun new French-American film you must see this weekend.  My friend in Paris saw Chinese Puzzle (Casse-tête chinois) when it was released in France months ago and raved about it.  I can’t believe it’s finally opening in New York and Los Angeles two days after my departure. C’est la vie.
The story revolves around a 40-year old father played by the brilliant French actor Romain Duris. His American wife leaves him for another man and takes his children to live in New York.  He follows and as you can imagine, there is quite a culture shock.  Along the way, he also meets Audrey Tautou and a colorful cast of characters. If you watch the trailer below, you will definitely want to see it too.  In my case, I guess I’ll wait for Netflix.

Your trip to Paris sounds perfect! I would love to be able to spend a few months there! Thank goodness for Netflix so you’ll get a chance to see that film! Should be quite interesting.

Do you know the blog HiP Paris Blog? They regularly post ideas of great places to visit in that beautiful city. Their latest post has lots of ideas that look worth checking out! You might want to give them a look over! I wasn’t sure if you would want a link placed here, but I think you would be able to find them easily enough if you were interested!
