If you watched The September Issue, you know Grace Coddington is a fan of photography.  It’s no surprise then that the online auction house Paddle8 has tapped the legendary Vogue editor to curate a collection of photographs for an upcoming auction.  Instead of fashion photos as you might expect, she has pulled together “No Clothes“, a collection of nudes that will be up from May 1 to May 16. She spoke with the WSJ. Magazine for the upcoming issue out May 3rd which is available to read online now. Another legend, photographer Arthur Elgort also took a few photos of Grace and her West Village apartment for the article. The photos highlights her own photography collection and a few of her cats. Grace also happened to just celebrate her birthday this past Sunday.  April is a great month for birthdays if I do say so myself.

Photography by Arthur Elgort for WSJ. Magazine.

I love the way the photos are displayed in her bedroom. Although there are many, they still look stylish and uncluttered.

i dont know much about her…but if she is the type of person she was shown in the september issue, then she’s a wonderful person, more giving than taking… and incredibly talented.
