The Two Faces of January

02 . 19 . 14When I saw the trailer for The Two Faces of January, I thought it reminded me of the film Talented Mr Ripley. Then I saw the movie poster which confirmed that the firm is based on the 1964 book The Two Faces of Januaryby Patricia Highsmith, the author of The Talented Mr. Ripley. The Two Faces of January is a thriller that stars Viggo Mortensen, Kirsten Dunst, and Oscar Issac as “a con artist, his wife, and a stranger who try to flee a foreign country after one of them is caught up in the murder of a police officer.” The beautiful sites of Greece could be considered another star of the film as well. It won’t be released for a few more months but that give you plenty time to read the book first.

Thanks for the heads up about this book and upcoming movie. I’ve put it on my “must see” list. I loved Oscar Issac in “W.E.” and wondered where he would appear next.
Interesting movie, I loved The talented Mr. Ripley and looking forward to this one.
Loved Mr. Ripley…this is another great reason to look forward to spring.
