The Art of Doing Nothing

The wifi situation has been more spotty than anticipated in the Dominican Republic so I apologize for a lack of posts.  But I have to admit that it’s been nice to be on a real holiday and doing no work other than making everyone back in cold New York jealous via Instagram. Except for a few passing showers, it’s been a beautiful 80 degrees everyday and Abigail and Hotel La Catalina couldn’t be taking better care of me.  Sometimes doing nothing feels really good.

La Presiosa, the local surf spot.

Surf school at Playa Grande.

Beautiful bougainvillea at Hotel La Catalina.

One of the pools at Hotel La Catalina. The umbrellas are made from recycled satellite dishes!

What lovely pictures! I am sure you have been asked this before, but what kind of camera and lens do you use? Thank you!
