It’s beginning to look a lot like…

11 . 18 . 13I usually like to wait until after Thanksgiving to start posting about Christmas but since it’s starting to look pretty festive around town, I figured what the heck. Last week, Bunny Williams invited me to Treillage for lunch where the entire place was already decked out for the holidays. I found out that I had missed Mr. Valentino and Giancarlo Giammetti by only a day so you know the place has to be great if they are shopping there too. My favorite items are the felt ornaments, the amazing blue and white porcelain, and the battery operated candles. They will change your world. They are designed to look exactly like uneven melted candles and the wick flickers like a real candle. And the best part is that they come with a remote control. Actually, the best part is that you don’t have to worry about melted wax getting all over or your children and pets knocking them over during the hectic holidays. Oh, and now you can shop Treillage online. But you might want to stop by the store too, especially if you want to run into Mr. Valentino.

Thanks so much for sharing! What a beautiful looking spot – will definitely have to stop by this winter.
What perfect timing! I’m currently prepping a list of places to visit for my trip to NYC in 2 weeks. Please, please note some additional places you would recommend popping into, as you have such stylish taste and helpful ideas and suggestions. Thank you!
Love it. And how chic are you??? Your book on the shelf and not even a passing comment from you about it being there. Such class, bravo!
Heather such an amazing shop and what a treat to be invited to lunch with bunny!
I see so many wonderful items that I would not be able to resist!

I love when you post about your uptown spots – forces me to break out of my downtown routine and truely explore the wonderful city we live in. Have you thought about doing a guide to the UES? A few chic places we downtown citizens wouldn’t know about?
