Intriguingly Chic

04 . 26 . 13Sometimes you run across spaces that aren’t exactly your own personal style but are so full of intriguing details that you can help but be enamored by them. That’s how I feel about this Paris apartment by Jean Louis Deniot. I love the marble entry with jib door, the grey and gold color scheme, the striped bathroom, and I especially love the gold kitchen cabinets. It’s proof that you can find great ideas in any interior if you look hard enough.
Bon weekend!

I’m with you on this one Heather. Too cool (temperature and style!) for my taste, but what a stunning example of interior design. Incredibly detailed execution and coloration.
Wow. How gorgeous are those kitchen cabinets!

Very cool! I’ve seen some of the photos before, the kitchen for instance, but It’s nice to see the photos all together…you get a nice sense of the continuity of the whole project. Thanks once again for a lovely post.

Perfect. A little something for everyone. Great post.
Very interesting place! Looking at rooms that arent to your taste also helps to refine and create your own esthetic. Though I couldn’t live in those rooms, I can certainly appreciate the good design.
Heather I do notice several fab things which could be worked into my decor. I look forward to every post!
PS I am having a Paris Book Giveaway!

Deniot is a great talent. Although this space is “perfect”, it lacks life and is ultimately perfectly boring. That said, some of the details are fantastic.

Do you know what the cabinets are made out of? I need those in my new apartment!
Thanks!
What a stunning apartment done is monochromatic tones. I like the mix of vintage and new to make this space so very unique.
