NYFW Fall 2013: The Row

It was rainy and cold this morning in New York but those who braved the weather were rewarded by a chic show by The Row.  For those of you not in the know, The Row is helmed by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.  but couldn’t be further from what they wore growing up on Full House.  It’s sophisticated and elegant just the Upper East Side townhouse they chose for the venue. It was designed and produced by Bureau Betak who are the team to call for chic shows and events and definitely made up for the rain.

I love how their shows are so minimal, even in terms of ‘looks’. Just luxe essentials.

A lovely setting for a lovely collection… the simplicity of their garments is wonderful…

Breathtaking apartment! And the clothes are just beautifully constructed. But, that apartment…sigh…

That townhouse is to die for. The herringbone floors, the gold light, the mouldings, the furniture, it’s fabulous.

The venue is fabulous. I love the settee the twins are sitting on. The French provincial style mirror over the fireplace is amazing. A very nice, warm mix of furniture for a rainy day. A warm cream colored wrap is the perfect touch.

The interior architectural design as well as the clothes are beautiful! That knitted sweater on the model walking down the staircase is lovely!
