Masculine Chic
by habituallychic
02 . 19 . 13Since I’ve been posting a lot of feminine fashion recently, I thought I should take a little time out for the boys. As a follow up to my post about the fall 2013 J.Crew fashion presentation, I thought it might be interesting to look at how the menswear director for J.Crew, Frank Muytjens lives at home. Lonny magazine featured his Brooklyn apartment and Elle Decor took a look at his upstate New York weekend home. Both are filled with various vintage finds and inspiration that often makes it way into the men’s collection. Both spaces also remind me of his office which I included in my book Creativity at Work. Maybe I’ll post a few of those pics next. To read the whole Lonny story, click here and for Elle Decor, click here.

Thank you so much for doing this post! Please keep masculine chic coming!
Such a nice post, and especially because it’s Frank. A lovely gentleman with great style.
I always enjoy your posts, because whether it’s women’s fashion or a beautiful office, there’s something to learn and appreciate…but it’s really great to see some men’s homes! Thanks for sharing–and keep it coming! D.
Frank’s style is so chic, fresh, and clean looking. I absolutely adore his upstate home! It looks like the perfect place to take a hike and then come back inside and warm up with a hot mug of tea and a book!
Adore this post + His homes are beautifully edited + love his style. xxpeggybraswelldesign.com
