Back in Black
by habituallychic
11 . 23 . 12Black Friday is the phrase used to describe the shopping day after Thanksgiving when retailers go from “in the red” to “in the black” which refers to making a profit. For me, it’s the day that makes me glad I don’t live near a mall. This post is my chic homage to Black Friday with a little white and grey thrown in for good measure. If you do go shopping, I hope you don’t get trampled by anyone buying a flat screen tv.
Bon Weekend.

I adore all of the quotes as well!

Where do I begin, you’ve gotten into my head…. (hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful!)
Being European, I’ve only recently become aware of Black Friday (it’s catching on around here too, despite the fact that we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving… go figure). I had no idea where the name came from!
Great shots – thanks for the post! There is something so beautiful about the simplicity of black and white (with a little grey thrown in!).
Oh, and I’m trying very hard not to buy anything today! Have a great weekend!
Another Fab post. I think I saw that matte black Rolls in front of Barney’s LA a few weeks ago. I was tempted to get in and, you know, just have a Jay-Z fantasy moment.
Great post!
Heather YOU are always such an inspiration!
I may not comment much but I’m always looking and loving everything.

Much prefer your version of Black Friday to the online shopping frenzy. Love that first photo – and Bailey’s Mick Jagger pic, of course.
Heather, I like your Black Friday WAYYYYYYY more! So chic…. there is nothing chic about the “real” Black Friday 🙂
Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful!
You are so an inspiration! Talented and truly versatile and your posts are diversified. Thank you!
I owe you a big debt of gratitude. My son was visiting us from Brooklyn (where he is an office worker by day, drummer by night). I showed him the pic of Alain Delon and “hinted” he get his long hair cut like that. He did and loves it. And I am a happy mama! Thank you!
I am a fan!! Love love love black and the way you put all these images together is so artful!
