Calm Before the Storm
by habituallychic
10 . 28 . 12Since we’re about to be hunkered down at home for the next two days, I’m glad I was able to get out and about recently. I saw a lot of great decorations and preparations for Halloween as well as beautiful changing leaves. Hope they don’t get ruined by hurricane Sandy and you all stay safe and sound.
I also want to thank everyone who came out to my book signing for Creativity at Work at Archivia Books today. We actually almost sold out of the books which was amazing for the day before a hurricane. If you couldn’t make it and want a signed copy, you can call Archivia Books to order one. I will walk over and personally inscribe it for you.

Love the photos! Especially the orange bike, dunno why, it just really strikes me! Good luck with Frankenstorm!!
Hang on tight Heather!
Fingers crossed that “Sandy” gets cold feet and is a no show compared to what they are predicting.
CONGRATULATIONS on the book signing party!!! Stay dry and inside. xoxo Mary
Enjoyed the “breakfast” with you in today’s Pittsburgh Post-Gazette interview by Patricia Sheridan. And I do hope Toadflax will host a signing!

Best wishes for safety and minimal inconvenience during the storm. I hope it turns into a time to fully recover your health, Heather!
Happy I was able to stop by to see you and pick up your gorgeous new book yesterday Heather! So enjoying reading it now, as the wind rips by the windows of my 15th floor hotel room.
