Welcome to Mrs. John L. Strong

09 . 22 . 12If you happen to be fall shopping on Madison Avenue this weekend, do stop by and see the new Mrs. John L. Strong petite boutique. I call many things a jewel box but this space truly is a jewel box. It took more than a year for all the details to come together but it was worth the wait. Just look at the cabinetry, ceiling and that floor! I also thought the Chinoiserie secretary was an antique but it too was built specifically for the space. If you are claustrophobic or want to spend hours designing your stationery, you can always go upstairs to the spacious showroom which has also received a little refreshing. Or you can just wave to Yves as you walk by. Happy Shopping!

Have been looking for that Dead Salmon color, Chinoiserie secretary, for my toenails. Such a good autumn color.
Would love to know what the store smells like too. Odd thing too think from the hinterland of Atlanta.
It’s on my list for next NYC trip.

Definitely worth the wait and can’t wait to stop by for a visit. The boutique is a wonderful reflection of the brand – gorgeous!
What a lovely little spot. The secretary is fabulous. I like the French boudoir look of the space. Exactly the right kind of place to write notes on your engraved personal stationary. Thanks for sharing.

With such a great history and stylish products, I am glad to see the name revived. Did you ask who designed the new store?
These are great photos of an amazing retail space–no details were overlooked here. Thanks.

Absolutely gorgeous. I will make it a must see on my next trip to town. Love the new children’s collection – what a wonderful and different gift idea! Thank you for reminding me about Mrs Strong !
We just visited the store and offices on Thursday to develop our wedding invites. The offices are beautiful and very welcoming. The offices were designed by the Owners mother. Just FYI.
