My three favorite Lacquer Trays are the Chevron Pattern Navy, Coakley Cay Pattern Black, and Bamboo Pattern Chino. I love anything chevron, I love anything black and white with a splash of pink, and I love anything gold. If given the option I would monogram the Coakley pattern with my initials CHP and add The Padgett’s text to the Bamboo.

Love the Marrakech stripe -any color!-reminds me of the tiles in the old gardens there and the dizzying varieties of color and pattern…and the elephants! They evoke Thailand, and you must have elephants in the house for good luck!

What an impossible choice! If I actually won, I’d be up all night trying to really narrow it down to three. I think it depends on what I used the tray for – if it were to be functional, I’d want a repetitive pattern that you could still see around platters, drinkware, whatever, like the Chippendale in navy and pink. If I decided to display them aesthetically instead, I’d opt for a big design like Mr. Casual Orange (how fabulous is a land monkey riding a sea monkey??) or Ling Blue. – Karyn
