Minty Fresh

I’ve had the minty color of the coat above that Tommy Ton photographed during fashion in my head for weeks.  I used to associate it more with spring but I’m loving it all year long now.  J.Crew has many pieces in this chic color in their new catalog so now we can easily add it to our own wardrobes.  It would also look just as great in your home as in your closet.  Just can’t decide if it’s the best color for a car.  What do you think?

This is my favorite color! Reminds me of Miles Redd’s oh-so-covetable front door too. And did not expect how pretty it would look with yellow… Great post!

  3. I think it looks fresh in interiors and on clothes. But on a car or appliances or something like that it still reads retro — mbwife

This is so crazy! I am moving into a new apartment at the end of October and was just thinking how I want to decorate in shades of mint and navy blue! Such a lovely soothing color. Thanks for sharing these images to get me started!

I love this minty colour so much it’s the colour I’ve chosen for my bedroom and dressing room. It reminds me of the ocean. Amber

You mean that’s Tommy Ton in the photo and not Ellen Degeneres?

I love mint too… especially mixed with burgundy or some other shade of red, purple or brown…

A dreamy color, relaxing and romantic but still a neutral color that can go with any other hue, vibrant or subtle. Beautiful! (not so sure about the Jaguar though but… Hey, why not?)

What an amazing compilation of minty goodness! Truly a color that looks fabulous in any context, but especially in interiors. If you haven’t gotten enough of minty fresh, be certain to visit the freshest MINTY around…a new spot in Atlanta featuring wonderfully unique vintage pieces for the home.

I am about to paint my nursery and think this is a great color my little girl’s room but am having trouble finding the right paint color. Any suggestions for the muted tones?

This is a great color! I’m brainstorming right now on how I can incorporate it into my sewing…

    I spy a familiar kitchen 😉

designed by Taylor Hannah Architect as seen in Traditional Home and shot by Andreas Trauttmansdorf, the colour of the cabinets was custom blended to match a candle my mom was given as a gift. We just love it!
