Sick Day
by habituallychic
05 . 24 . 11I’ve had my blog browser open all day trying to figure out what to post. My head is in a fog because of a terrible cold which is why it has remained empty. I think I need to take a little rest today so I’m leaving you with this beautiful photo I found on tumblr where nothing ever has a credit. That means that I can’t tell you where it’s from but I wish I was there and that my nose wasn’t stuffed up so I could smell the hydrangea. I’ll try to post something longer tonight but right now, I’m off to buy Sudafed. Sniffle, sniffle.
UPDATE: Big thanks to my blog readers who recognized that the photo is from the home of Ruth Gay, the owner of Chateau Domingue that was designed is by Pamela Pierce and was featured in the May/June 2011 issue of Veranda. What’s funny is that I have that issue but have been too busy to read it. I think today is the perfect day to pull it and read it on the sofa with a box of Kleenex! Thanks again!

It’s ok to have a sick day every once in awhile (especially when you’re really sick). That image is from the May /June issue of Veranda (loved it). It’s part of a spread featuring a fabulous Provencal-style Houston home by Pamela Pierce. Hope you feel better soon!
that’s a lovely image..get better soon..xx meenal
Feel better, sweetie!
Aww, feel better soon. That is a lovely picture. Sudafed works wonders…also Tylenol cold and flu.
Hope you feel better soon. Your blog is awesome so a day to get better is well-deserved.
Photos like the one you chose completely cheer me up when I’m not feeling well. I have a request for a post…. Do you have pics of the Keno Brothers’ furniture line from High Point? I’ve followed their careers for a long time, since I went to Hamilton College a few years after they did. Thanks!
get well soon http://www.bilabuck.blogspot.com
I would send you some home-made chicken soup, but by the time it arrived, you would be all better. So I’m sending love instead. Get better ASAP. Mary
