Stunning!

I dragged myself out of bed at 5:30am to watch the Royal Wedding and it was well worth it.  Apparently, Prince William told Kate Middleton, “you look stunning” (or beautiful depending on the lip reader) after he saw her and he was quite right.  She looked amazing in her dress designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen and I bet it will be the dress that launches a thousand sleeves.  The wedding was dreamy and romantic and gives you faith in love and marriage.  Cheers!

Absolutely GORGEOUS! I too sat bleary eyed (and, yes, sometimes teary eyed) watching one of the most romantic moments ever. I was even happier that my 13-year-old son snuggled next to me – there is hope yet that he will turn into a hopeless romantic, too!

I think Pippa’s dress was equally lovely in an understatedly elegant way and I think it too will be extremely influential in wedding dress design in coming years.

Kate’s dress was more traditional than I expected but I love it and Pippa’s.

I am a big fan of the lace. I hope it does launch some kind of trend, although lace is already in.

I loved the dresses of both the Middleton girls, and it seemed clear that both of them really loved each other from the way they looked at each other. Here’s to a much happier marriage than his parents!

Everything was ACE for the wedding day…The dress was perfection…Grace Kelly meets Princess Margaret…I think that billions of us on the planet had a real “lift” from the ceremony…

how beautiful is that photo of William and Catherine in profile?!! Stunning.

Agree with Laughingsalmon re wedding gown being reminiscent of Princeses Grace’s and Margaret’s gowns. Two of my fave royal wedding gowns of all time. But I did think Catherine’s dress was a bit limp, or that she was too frail-lookin or something. I’d love to see the lace up close, though.

Oh, and how handsome and confident did William look (again in profile) as he arrived with Harry by car?! And then he was so smitten and bashful when Catherine arrived at the alter (the whispered compliment). I think he blushed!

Pippa’s green reception gown was breathtaking. Pity Catherine’s 2nd gown was so dull and dowdy. That fluffy cardigan was dreadful. A floaty feathery capelet in a soft grey or mauve would have been lovelier.
