Haussman Chic

I’m feeling slightly under the weather so I’m leaving you with this interesting Paris apartment.  Those of you who speak French can read the description on the Côté Maison website.  The rest can just enjoy the photos by Jean-Marc Palisse.  It’s not one of those apartments where I love every room.  Clean and contemporary kitchens and bathrooms aren’t my favorite but the Haussmann details more than make up for them.  And those glossy grey doors are almost more fabulous than the entire apartment. Enjoy!

I love that room with the abstract (Picasso?) art and those incredible chairs. I just did a post on accent chairs today and wish I’d had that image to include! Very cool. You’re right though – the front doors really are amazing – nothing like an incredibly entry to set the stage for a great space! Get well soon…

Hi Heather–hope that you are feeling better pronto. As for this amazing apartment–knocks my socks off: the mix, the art, the touches of antique furniture! I’ll be tripping over to the website next. Mary

Yes I agree, but the dining room/living room combo are dead on.

    hope you feel better.
