The wintery weather this week has me wishing I was on warm and sunny St. Barths.  Even more so after seeing the fabulous photos in Pamela Fiori’s new book, In the Spirit of St. Barths.  The best part is that Assouline is sponsoring a contest that could me and you to this island paradise.  For more details, check out their Facebook page. Bonne Chance!

What glorious eye candy!! I must get this book….the only thing thats kept me from going is the small planes..I am super claustrophobic, but we might be going in Nov. and I will be going on the ferry..which I heard is no picnic, but everytime I see a picture…I long to visit….beautiful!

A contest to go to St. Barths, I’m in…going to head over to enter and dream about swimming in that tranquil blue water!

Such a good way to day dream on a dreary day! I was on holiday in London last week, and although it’s a city I love a part of me did wish I’d gone somewhere warm.

I worked on a project here a few years back and was so disappointed not have been able to visit -my boss went (of course!). His snapshots were just stunning so I can imagine this book is amazing! Next vacation- ha!

Ahhhh St. Barth’s my heaven on earth. I’ll definitely be ordering this book and most likely a copy for my dad who is equally obsessed with this perfect island.
Despite the fact that I’m 8.5 months pregnant right now, I’d give just about anything to be laying out on the beach at Anse de Colombier rather than sitting in my office in rainy Seattle.
    Contest Entered!

Ha, I just posted a photo of Shell Beach yesterday. I love it there, so beautiful and a perfect blend of chic and laid-back. But avoid it at Christmas-time, the crowds are a huge distraction to the beauty of the islands. And be ready for fear-inducing driving–the cliff roads can be startling.
