The Chic Beach at Soho Beach House
by habituallychic
02 . 25 . 11It’s raining in New York and I really wish I was still in sunny Miami. My absolute favorite part of the Soho Beach House hotel was the beach and not just because it was 80 degrees. It was adorable and will also be going in my furture beach house inspiration folder. Stripes seem to be a subtle them at the Soho Beach House and extend from the hotel’s tile floors to the beach chair cushions and towels. The blue and white color scheme is punctuated with pops of red in the form of trays for magazines and the pièce de résistance, the red vintage coolers that house cool drinks and fruit. There are watering cans at the end of each row to clean the sand off of your feet and the bar runs on solar power. Doesn’t get much better than chic and eco-friendly! Bon Weekend!

That looks mighty nice right about now as i look out at the cold, rainy dreary day we have ahead of us. It is so cute, love all the vivid blue colors! Of course against that gorgeous blue sky and water….any color would look amazing!
Hi Heather, looks like you really hit the jackpot while in Miami!
I live only an hour or so north, yet now I want to go and have a mini vacation in Miami 🙂
Have a great weekend,
Northern Light
How chic are those red coolers?! It seems based on this post and your previous one of the hotel interior, that they have left absolutely nothing overlooked. Typically I never get down that far south in FLA, but I’m thinking that a trip to the Soho Beach House is on my horizon … and don’t despair, soon Park Avenue will be covered in tulips!
So cold and rainy here today -i wish we were back in Miami (at the soho beach house!)
Miami is certainly one of my favorite destinations. We usually stay at The Tides, but now I am thinking we will try the Soho House:)
Have a great & chic weekend!

i’m home sick in the rain – i could DEF go for a sunny Miami day!
Yes, my fantasy beach house file just got a little thicker, too. It’s amazing how the smallest touches can make the biggest difference in how you experience a vacation (or a room).
Man, you are making me miss miami. Is the Soho beach house next to the Fountainbleau? If so, I think it used to be the Sovereign hotel – not nearly as cool when I stayed there. BTW, doing an ikat pillow giveaway today on my blog
Take me away! Looks like heaven! I havent heard of the Soho House but will be filing that one away.
Wow, I can’t believe it’s possible to be so chic on the beach!! Love the stripes with punches of red – great colour story!!
How nice! We just stayed in a great place in West Palm Beach that was also very beautiful.

I am in no way connected with the B&B. It just had beautiful rooms and grounds, although it was not beachfront.
this place looks really nice :)))
I live in Hawaii and I am curious to why the beach chairs are not facing the ocean? I have never seen that before?
