NYIGF 2011: For the Birds
by habituallychic
02 . 02 . 11I kept noticing birds everywhere I went at the New York International Gift Show. The pillows from Dransfield & Ross are an especially beautiful example. Birds are a harbinger of spring and here’s hoping that after this brutal winter they arrive in real life soon too!

FUN! I love seeing birds in everywhere. Thanks for sharing.
Time to pull out my parrot artwork and give it a more prominent place in our condo, loved the post, thank you…
I think I must like all of John Derian’s products.
Speaking of birds – surely you must have seen this?

So funny. You must watch.
Love the Foreign Affair and John Derian ones. They remind me of the sketched posters we had at school in the “old” days 🙂 <3
Loooove all your bird inspired photos. The pillows are great. I am a big bird/pesasant fan…so this really caught my eye. To me, they are timeless and go in any decor.
I noticed the same thing in all of my spring decor catalogs that have been spilling in. I do love the birds. 🙂
Put a bird on it!
Oh… this post is “music” for my ears! 😉
Pretty, pretty!

Birds are timeless and beautiful. Glad they are still coming on strong.
I also love this bird trend, especially the owls. Not sure why but glad to see it is back for the spring and summer and I also wrote about it on our blog. Check out Charley Howard birds as well…a little different but beautiful in their own way. Thanks for taking those of us who couldnt make it to the show through all the fun booths. stay warm!
Birds were absolutely everywhere at this show, weren’t they? I purchased some cool Bird trays from Peacock Designs (you show them in your blog). This fair was really good this year. Found so many new and exciting things for our shop/gallery. Love following your posts! Sorry we didn’t bump into each other at the Piers ~ Thanks for the post!
