Chic in Miami: Cecconi’s
by habituallychic
02 . 22 . 11Someone called Cecconi’s the most beautiful restaurant in Miami and I have to agree. Lucky for Stefan and me, the restaurant was located in our hotel, the Soho Beach House. We’ll get to that later. Designer Martin Brudnizki created a gorgeous oasis underneath Silver Buttonwood trees and bell jar hanging light fixtures. The trees are also wrapped in white lights and the effect at night is magical. I especially love the tile Antique Nile green floor tiles that are set on an angle that seem to lead you through the space. The extra long tufted Chesterfield sofas are also a chic nod to the English origins of the Soho House Empire. Oh, and the Italian cuisine isn’t too shabby either!

Oh, I would love to linger over a meal there! Those striped floors are my favourite detail.
Any relationship to Madonna?
Just plain GORGEOUS!!! Chic and laid back in the same breath!!
Pretty indeed! I am supposed to be going to Miami next month and will have to make a stop…love the floors. Beautiful, hope the food is as good as it is pretty:)
Love the pergola. Always wanted one in my own backyard. Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful; and the terrace reminds me of Piati in La Jolla!

Looks lovely, would really be interested in more info on those light fixtures.
The tiles are excellent!
Fabulous! Do you have any information on the fabric used on the Chesterfield. I’m usually a pattern-phobe but it’s so fresh and not overwhelming… I just love it.
All gorgeous ofcourse…wondering if the sofa’s were custom made as far as height. I find that when using a sofa for dining, typically my chin ends up about table level.
a deep buttoned chesterfield…….my passion along with Irish Wolfhounds……
