A Blue and White Wedding
11 . 30 . 10
When I saw the photo of Minnie Mortimer’s wedding reception in The New York Times, I thought the table looked beautiful. I never found any more photos until last week when I was looking at Carolyne Roehm‘s website. The rest of the details are just as lovely as I knew they would be and are definitely going in my wedding inspiration folder. I also love that Minnie didn’t wear a strapless dress. They full announcement of her nuptials to director Stephen Gagan in the Vows section is worth the read.
Beautiful photos, love the tabletop, the flowers!
Beautiful. Love the boxes, and her dress is gorgeous.
Thanks for sharing.
Truly beautiful! Mimi xx
How elegant! The soft blue vases with the different white blooms. I am sending this post to friends.
I agree with designchic = perfection.
The piece in the NY Times is definitely worth reading.
Thank you for sharing this, it was a lovely way to start my morning.
Stunning pair… I love the alternative to the “normal” wedding.
Great looking and the decor is breathtaking.
So lovely. And I am glad I am not the only one out here who is a bit sick of the over done strapless look.
stunning photos! Mandi @
Beautiful! My favorite shades of blue.
Very pretty – great photography.
Beautiful. I’m getting married in March and need all the inspiration I can get!
I hope the wedding ring was from Tiffany’s… stunning color scheme, elegant and timeless!
How incredibly pretty
Definitely worth keeping these photos as inspiration for your own wedding! The colour and simplicity work perfectly. Oh yes, I agree with you about the dress & the vows add so much more to the photos… so romantic! Thanks, Heather.
Love the dress!
Love love love – the color palette and everything is SO much like my upcoming wedding! Thank you for sharing 🙂
This post a definitely a keeper. Have filed safely in my wedding file for any future weddings in my family. I love it all!!!
I totally agree about the strapless dresses. Here in the Midwest that is all anyone wears. I’m so over it! Beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing.
