NYFW: Jason Wu Spring 2011

The weather in New York has just turned cool enough to start wearing fall clothes but the runway at fashion week is all about spring.  One of my favorite shows from Day 2 was Jason Wu.  He’s the darling of the fashion world and by the look of this collection, rightly so.  I love the tailored shorts and trousers as well as his signature pretty dresses.  Jason has also created a line of shoes and handbags that complete the look.  He said he “looked to the seventies and forties, and the vivid floral paintings of the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes” for inspiration which inspired the bright colors and patterns.  I’m so glad we have these gorgeous clothes to look forward to after the upcoming winter!

Oh it just got better and better the more I scrolled down. I totally love striped tops. I have too many, but these are fantastic. I love the one with the blazer…too cool. Then the dresses are just swoon worthy! Thanks for sharing…
