Chic at Work
09 . 01 . 10
There are a lot of important issues going on in the world but the press is jumping all over the fact that President Obama had the Oval Office redecorated recently. Margaret Russell, the new editor in chief of Architectural Digest, even made an appearance on The Today Show to comment of the room. She hoped that it would bring attention to the design industry which has still not fully recovered and also to all the American companies whose products were used in the space. Every president has redecorated the Oval Office to suit their needs and style. How would you like it if you started a new job and had to live with the office decor of the person before you? I don’t think it would be very fun. Since we spend at least 40 hours working in our office and probably more, why would you not want it to be the most inspiring place? I’m fascinated by the office of creative people and have included many of them here. I’m still looking for Carolina Herrera and Oscar de la Renta! I bet theirs are beyond chic! Enjoy!
