Chic in New York: J.Crew Bridal Boutique

06 . 02 . 10

The new J.Crew Bridal Boutique on Madison Avenue at 66th Street is officially open for business. Luckily for those of us not about to tie the knot, the store will also carry party dresses and jewelry, as well as scents by Histoire de Parfums. The boys won’t be left out for long since a men’s store will open across the street from the current Collection store on Madison Avenue at 79th Street this fall. Welcome to the neighborhood J.Crew!

I wish this had existed when I was getting married! It was impossible for me to find a simple beach-appropriate wedding dress. The j crew wedding styles I see now are all perfect for a destination wedding!

Oh how I wish I could go! My mom says looking at their catalogs is like looking at porn. Well, I wouldn’t overstate it to THAT extreme, but I do wish I could go see their wedding dresses! My time will be soon… just probably won’t have the money. :/ Oh well. A girl can dream!

I went to the store yesterday, it was amazing-from the interior decor to the vintage jewelry they have and they way they style everything. My sister was having a prom dress crisis and i remembered that this store carries party dresses, luckily she found her prom dress, handbag and jewelry–crisis averted.
