Paris via America and Singapore

I’m off to a busy day of meetings and appointments but I couldn’t leave without posting these gorgeous photos of American-born and now Singapore based interior designer Christopher Noto‘s Parisian pied-à-terre. I came across this apartment in the January or Gennaio 2010 issue of Italian AD which is entirely devoted to Paris and is definitely worth paying $15.95 to peruse! A little research unearthed that it was also shot for the American issue of AD so if you’re Italian is a little rusty, you can read more about it here. I love all the Asian details that work perfectly with the French architecture. It’s definitely a dream apartment! Enjoy!

This Parisian apartment seems to reflect the experience of its owner. The blend of asian, parisian and american makes it interesting and gives it personality. What an interesting mix!!

There are so many exquisite apartments and homes in the world … and I do love looking at them.

But this is one of those rare instances when I could happily leave everything in my life behind and unpack my suitcase and be right at home. Everything – everything – is my taste. And it’s in my favorite city in the world!

I had planned on staying snugly tucked in during this eastern coast blizzard – but, now I have to go to the only shop in the city where I can buy an Italin AG!

I ripped out this apartment for my tear sheets. While it is uber-traditional, and I am mid-century, I loved the walls, and the molding. Just beautiful!

Wow! What an elegant ,beautifully appointed home. I love the colors and all of the opulence. Yet it still feels very liveable. The mouldings and architecture are wonderful and then I see a balcony with a black and white striped awning. I just posted awnings as a want on my Someday list a few days ago on my blog. Love all of the images, thankyou for sharing. Kathysue

I agree. Truly beautiful, and not overly styled in any one theme or other. The neutral palette really assists with this too.
