There goes my diet!
by habituallychic
01 . 29 . 10 I just started working on a project that is a hop, skip and a jump from Billy’s Bakery on Ninth Avenue. Needless to say, I picked up a delicious treat for myself after my walk though today. I can already tell that it’s going to take a lot of will power not to go there every time I visit the job site! The cupcakes are delicious and the cakes are as pretty as they are yummy! I can also personally vouch for the pumpkin square. Billy’s Bakery would also make a great place to pick up some sweets for your Valentine next month. Or you could just treat yourself! You’re worth it! Bon Weekend!

Yum!!! I will have to stop by next time I am in town.
Yummy! They look so good. I don’t think I would be able to go by without buying a cupcake or two.
ALL of that looks SOOO amazingly yummy! I have such a sweet tooth and I would have to have will power if I was passing by this divine place too! But sometimes it sure is nice to get yourself a lil treat! 😉
If I wasn’t already running on 100% sugar at the moment, I would be incredibly tempted.
those cupcakes look delicious, especially the red velvet ones.. those are my weakness. PS- If you’re ever in Chicago, you must stop by Sweet Mandy B’s bakery in Lincoln Park! it’s absolute heaven.
So jealous!!
oh my…(tummy grumbles)
Yum! That would take some serious willpower to stay away! xo
Oh, I spy some red velvet cupcakes in the fourth picture. That’s just not fair to those of us who don’t live in NY! 🙂
YUM… so very jealous…
If you’re in London, make sure to visit the Hummingbird Bakery. They also make yummy baked goods.
YUM! Wish I had known about this place when I was in town last week. Or maybe not! 🙂
Will see you there next time I’m in NYC!

good for you – i am always so afraid to go into a sweets showing alone even though i know i look fabulous and totally deserve it!
Another reason I miss working in NYC…I miss Billy’s Bakery! Have a cupcake for me! 🙂
You had me at ‘cupcake’!
Those look so delicious! There is a cupcake place in New Olreans that I love and although I don’t need a cupcake, it sure would taste yummy!
I was so happy to see this! As I sit here eating a double chocolate stuffed with dark chocolate mousse. Tomorrow I’ll eat my salted carmel cupcake.
Looks delicious! I don’t blame you for stoppng. There’s something about the presentation of such beautiful presented desserts!
Heather,
These all look so good. Love sweet treats! Have a great weekend.
they look lovely… are they as good as Magnolia?

How does Billy’s compare to Prantl’s on Walnut St here in the ‘Burgh? Anything as good as the Burnt Almond Torte?

Hooray Heather! I am so happy that you finally made it to our bakery. I hope that you had a wonderful experience! I am so thrilled that you finally got a chance to come by. I visit your blog everyday to be inspired. What a pleasant surprise, Thank you!

It took just the first photo to make me wanna pack my things and fly to NY..in Italy we don’t have all of these cupcakes…so baaaaaaad!!!!!! 🙁 I’m going to find a recipe and try to do them myself…wish me luck! ^_^
Red velvet cupcakes are something my only reason for getting out of bed, lol! Have you been to Georgetown Cupcake here in DC? If I worked near there, I would be in serious trouble. These look so yummy!

I work across the street from a cupcake shop and it is dangerous. Red velvet cupcakes are bad news bears!
It’s my favorite cupcake in NYC. *sigh* So dangerous. So delicious.
YUMMM! <3
