While I appreciate Anna Dello Russo’s over the top outfits during fashion week, she works for Vogue Nippon after all, it’s her fashion assistant’s style that I really admire. Viviana Volpicella makes even a simple outfit of pants and a blouse look chic and stylish. Then again, you could probably put her in a paper bag and she’d still look just as chic and stylish because she is Italian and that’s what they do. But it’s got to be that great smile that makes me like her so much. There is nothing worse than a person who takes themselves too seriously. Someone who wears yellow must also have a sunny personality to match! I think once you see her signature style in action, you’ll agree with me. Just ignore the ubiquitous cigarette. As I said, she’s Italian!

I love the color, the unique style. I don’t think I could pull off most of that, but I would like to wear that saffrom blouse with those shorts some day.

Love her fearless sense of color! The two years I spent in Switzerland we were just 20 minutes from Lake Como and less than an hour from Milan. We jumped on the train to shop and people watch in the Italian fashion capital. The innate sense of style in the women there is like nothing I’ve ever seen before!

OK, I, like everyone else, am in love with the ochre pin-tuck pleated blouse she is wearing! I think it is your duty, Heather, to take care of us and find out where we may purchase said blouse. Even though I have neither brunette hair or olive skin, I would still feel oh-so-Ciao-Baby if only that were hanging in my closet 🙂
