I wish the new October 2009 issue of Elle Decor magazine had hit the newsstands before my trip so I could have read it while waiting for take off. Can you believe Elle Decor has been around for 20 years?! This issue celebrates their success and they will also be publishing Style and Substance: The Best of Elle Decor to commemorate this auspicious event. Editor in Chief Margaret Russell left for Paris on Tuesday and we’re hoping we run into her at some point so we can congratulate her!

mazel elle decor! i am actually so grateful for this magazine, especially now that domino is gone. i find it to be really inspiring and easy and fun to read. i love house beautiful too, but i find it a little more tedious a read, and a little on the conservative side sometimes.
there are 2 interior design magazines in the world that i truly like: one it’s definitely Elle Deco
20-years, amazing. I have to agree, I’m greatful for Elle. I love Martha, of course, but for decor, I’ve keep my subscription to Elle current! (I still miss Domino, sniff).

After seeing this post I dashed to the newsstand to find it. Of course it wasn’t there yet. That’s what I get for moving to Oklahoma…
