Merci!
by habituallychic
08 . 20 . 09Stefan and I have less than two weeks until we will be strolling and shopping in Paris and one of the places that has shot to the top of my must visit list is the new store Merci! I’ve read about it in Town & Country, Australian Vogue Living, American Vogue and it’s also been suggested by my readers who all rave about it. The shop was started by the couple who created Bonpoint and comprises three floors that sell discounted designer clothing and home goods with proceeds benefiting women in Madagascar. As one of my friend remarked, it’s like the French version of Housing Works, albeit a much chicer version. Merci indeed!

I can’t wait to see Merci via H.C.! This store opened since my last trip to Paris and is one of the reasons I’m itching to get back across the pond! Merci indeed!
You can’t open a publication these days without seeing Merci and startlingly given my frequent foreys into Paris (6 times last year!) I haven’t been yet!!! Will be excited to see what you think of it… all the publications have given it great reviews, however the reviews from friends have been less so… will be curious to hear your opinion HC and depending what you say might add it to my fall hit list!
one of many reprts we’ll be expecting now!
Ok, please take many, many pictures and report all the details! I love Paris… cannot wait to get back there.

Unfortunately, that is not discounted at all – designer prices are what they always are: high!!… yet there are a few good cheap things especially in the home section…
And the cafe is cheap and delicious!!
OMG! Died and gone to HEAVEN!!
Amazing library! Amsterdam-style!
We have heard good things about the store from friends, now we can’t wait for your report on it!
Have a splendid weekend!
