I bought these little black urns last winter at Nancy Koltes Home in Soho even though I had no idea what I was going to do with them. They ended up sitting around until last weekend when I finally took them to Paradise Plant in the Flower District and had them plant little topiaries in them. They brighten up my window sill now and they weren’t even that expensive. You can buy the same urns online now at Jayson Home & Garden and they can also be seen this week on MA Belle.

DO tell where you got the window treatment, I’ve clearly been looking in the wrong places as I can’t find one like this! Thank you!

Hi Stacey – I actually got it at Bed Bath & Beyond in NYC. They have a lot of good stuff and at very good prices! Good luck!

I have a white urn similar to this and couldn’t figure out what to do with it. Yours are so chic in black I’m convinced I must paint mine and put a topiary in it! Thanks for the idea!

I have a similar pair of black urns that I thought would be too small for topiaries, but these look great. I may have to try it too.
