Thanks everyone! It was the most lovely Thanksgiving ever here in New York. It was about 66 degrees and so everyone was out taking a walk in the park and enjoying the weather. I was hoping that my walk burned off the two pieces of pumpkin pie I ate!
Isn’t it amazing that the trees are not all bare, even though it’s nearly December? By the end of the weekend, I think all leaves will be gone. Wonderful photos!
These shots mean so much to me. My Great Uncle was Frederick Law Olmsted – he designed the park. I’ve never been but I’m going to NYC for the first time in June 2009-I can’t wait.
stunning! I just adore the images of the leaves changing in the park. Lovely! Glad you had the time to step out and capture those moments. Great images!
Thank you so very very much for this! I haven’t been in the city in so long, and missing fall in the park is something I REALLY didn’t want to do…but I did. I’m loving these pictures. They’re lovely!

BA, I hope there are some leaves for you too! It was the most beautiful fall in New York.
And I am sooo jealous of Liberty Post Editor being related to Frederick Law Olmsted. How come I didn’t win the fabulous relative lottery! Darn it!
