I already placed my order to stock up on a few things but it’s also a good time to try new products. Here are all of the products that I use and buy from Sephora in case you need some suggestions.

The Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Pure Luxury Lift and Firm Mask is one of my favorite masks to use the day of an event. It makes a noticeable difference in my skin and it’s the closest mask I’ve found to the gold mask at Mario Badescu. I love the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask when my face is looking a bit dull but it’s also great around day three or four after a Clear and Brilliant laser to help slough off the mends and dry skin.

The Peter Thomas Roth Mask Blast-Off 3-Piece Mask Kit is great if you want to try the masks before committing to the larger sizes.

I don’t use the Clarins Cryo-Flash Instant Lift Effect and Glow Boosting Face Mask and V-Facial Instant Depuffing Face Mask as much as the others but they are also great and very popular.

I’ve been using Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Refillable Exfoliator for at least 25 years. I use it a few times a week not every day. I might up my usage as my skin gets drier in the winter. I just noticed that you can buy refills now too which is very eco-friendly.

I stopped using Augustinus Bader Rich Cream for a few months but started back up this summer and I definitely see a difference in my skin so I just ordered a new bottle. If you don’t wear makeup, it’s great because it leaves a beautiful sheen on the skin.

The boxed sets like The Skin Renewal System make great holiday gifts too.

I’ve been wearing the La Mer Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation with SPF 20 for at least 10 years. I tried switching to another product last year and my skin was not happy. I already have two bottles in my back stock or I would have bought more during this sale. It gives me a flawless finish without making me look like I’m wearing makeup. I also appreciate that it included SPF and comes in 27 different shades. 

I don’t wear loose or pressed powder and instead I use Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder all over my face and not just as a highlighter. I use it with the Hourglass Ambient Powder Brush which is flat doesn’t take up much room in my makeup bag.

I use the Westman Atelier Face Trace Cream Contour Stick in biscuit to carve out my cheekbones and the Baby Cheeks Lip + Cheek Cream Blush Stick in petal as my blush.

I bought this Tom Ford Soleil Glow Bronzer two years ago and it’s only now showing the bottom of the compact so I just ordered a new one. It’s a bit pricey so this is a great time to buy it. I love the natural tan look it gives my pale face. 

I just realized the Tom Ford Bronzer Brush is out of stock but it’s currently on sale at Nordstrom who seems to be having their own beauty sale right now if you need anything else.

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Ultra-Slim Precision Eyebrow Pencil and Wander Beauty Mile High Club Length and Define Mascara are two other products I’ve used forever.

I prefer to get my brows dyed but I don’t get it done as much as I need so in between, I lightly fill in my brows with the pencil. The mascara is the only one I’ve tried that doesn’t smudge, especially when it’s hot and humid.

My favorite lip product in the Sephora sale are the La Mer The Lip Polish to get rid of dry chapped lips. I always put on the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask before bed. I only use this in my apartment with clean fingers.

For color, I love the Westman Atelier Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Hydrating Lip Balm in garconne. I layer it over the Victoria Beckham Bitten Lip Tint in cheri which is not sold at Sephora.

When I want a little color on the run, I use the Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm for Hydration and Shine in brown sugar.

Don’t forget to think about your body during the Sephora sale. I love all the Nécessaire products including The Hand Retinol that I’ve been using for months. Your hands will eventually give you away if you neglect them while taking care of your face.

I forgot to order this Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Body Scrub today so I may have to place another order. This stuff smells amazing and leaves my skin incredibly soft.

I’ve tried all the self tanners and this St. Tropez Self Tan Express Bronzing Mousse is the one that gives me the most natural looking tan. It’s so natural that I often forget that I don’t actually have tan legs. The Double Sided Luxe Tan Applicator Mitt makes it easy to apply and protects your hands from turning tan too.

I’ve posted about this Slip Lovely Lashes Contour Sleep Mask because I love it for travel. The indented section not only protects your lashes but allows your eyelids to move in REM sleep. It’s also great for sleeping in the city with all the bright lights.

I have a love/hate relationship with Dyson products. I gave my Airwrap to a friend because it made my hair puffy and as much as I like the Dyson Hairdryer, I swear it makes my hair feel very dry. I just stayed at The Vanderbilt Hotel in Newport and they had the T3
Featherweight StyleMax Professional Hair Dryer with Automated Heat. I thought it made my hair look very smooth and soft so I just ordered one for myself.

I do absolutely love the Dyson Corrale Hair Straightener. It makes my hair incredibly shiny.

For those who missed my Letter from the Editor post a few months ago, I’m also now posting on Substack.
