Jasper Conran’s 17th-century Retreat

10 . 07 . 20During quarantine, I would often have insomnia and wake up at 3:00am and doomscroll Instagram. One of the accounts that helped me relax belonged to Jasper Conran in Dorset, England. He would post videos of his morning walk with his dog Minnow which were incredibly beautiful and relaxing and brought me so much comfort. That’s why I was so excited to see a full look at the interior of his house featured in the October 2020 issue of World of Interiors. The house which dates from the 17th-century is “miraculously intact” due to tenant farmers who who never touched a thing including the wig powdering cupboard. But it’s the grounds that make me jealous. I should see if he has room for one more if we have to ever quarantine again.
