Elegant in Hancock Park
by habituallychic
02 . 07 . 20The 1978 film Interiors was on TCM tonight. I find it terribly depressing but interiors make it worth watching. It struck me that the interiors of this Hancock Park house decorated by interior designer Christos Prevezanos and featured on ArchitecturalDigest.com has a similar neutral palette and paneling. It feels like this is the house they would use if the movie was remade today. While the marble clad bathrooms remind me of those in Villa Necchi in Milan. The house is a great example of how to marry traditional architectural details with modern elements to create a fresh feeling. I wasn’t familiar with designer Christos Prevezanos before this feature but I will definitely be watching his career going forward.
