If I had to award a top prize for holiday decorating, it would go to Brian Branton in Alexandria, Virginia. He goes all out each year decorating his historic home from 1808 with multiple Christmas trees, wreathes, and swags. I posted about him last year but he deserves another post since his home was just featured in The Cottage Journal Holiday Home 2019. If you can’t find the issue, you can buy it on Zinio. I love that the decorations are similar from year to year but not exactly the same. Brian is a lawyer but I have a feeling that he has a future in design someday.
