Gadabout at Home in Louisville
by habituallychic
05 . 12 . 19I’ve been following Hanna Seabrook of Gadabout Creative on Instagram for years where I would see snippets of her houses so I was happy to see one of them featured in Southern Living. Hanna and her family had moved to Louisville, Kentucky for her husband’s job for a few years and this is their home for that time period. They have since moved back to Charleston, South Carolina where most all of the art and antiques from his house now reside. “Growing up, I thought of brown wood pieces as “old lady,” but now I value the craftsmanship and combine them with untraditional accents,” she says in the article.
In the living room, classic chintz pattern Althea from Lee Jofa and chalky green walls in Vert de Terre from Farrow and Ball set the stage for the botanical prints and natural elements that also thread their way through the entire house and pull it all together.
