Chic Family Rectory

While I love English manor houses, they aren’t exactly practical for most people which is why I love rectories, vicarages, and parsonages. They are the smaller homes that were reserved for members of the clergy located next to the local church. Since they are a more manageable size, they are usually more relatable and offer more attainable design inspiration. I love this particular 18th-century Georgian rectory located in the Oxfordshire countryside that’s been turned into a family home by interior designer Emma Sims-Hilditch from House & Garden. As with most English homes, it’s comfortable and cozy with beautiful soft colors and pretty floral patterns. Looks like the perfect place to escape grey British weather.
