Milan Meets Manhattan

The marble bathrooms in this Central Park West apartment reminded me of Villa Necchi in Milan before I read that the iconic home was actually the inspiration before much of the design by Fawn Galli and Douglas Wright. The Pre-War apartment hadn’t been renovated since the 1970’s and was broken up into small rooms that required a year long gut renovation. The end result is a family apartment of interesting design details and cool colors that really does look like something you would find in Milan.

Wow! Breathtaking. There’s nothing I don’t love about each room. The blue floor in the bathroom is a nice twist, however in the kitchen and dining area does seem a bit too cold. Everything else is just breathtaking!
