Charming Cotswolds Garden

I’m obsessed with gardens and this one in the Cotswolds is my new favorite. It belongs to author Ian McEwan and his wife Annalena McAfee who is also a writer and journalist and was just featured on T Magazine. The couple serendipitously found the property that was going on sale the next day and bought it in 2012. It looks like a garden that would be perfectly at home in McEwan’s book Atonement and will probably inspire many books to come.

The house, the garden, the view! Surely this must be what heaven looks like! A truly spectacular garden – I am seriously envious – not possible to have such a garden where I live, no matter how many in staff to care for it.
Absolutely gorgeous! The gardens, landscape and views are heaven! I have a wonderful book by David Hicks called Cotswold Gardens, there are quite a few treasures there.
