I don’t normally like a lot of pattern in homes but I am totally charmed by this chic cottage called Woody House in the Hamptons. On first look, it seems to be more collected than decorated and story in the new July issue of Architectural Digest confirms that the owners are avid travelers. Peter Marino who helped them with the house says, “The couple travels everywhere in the world and has a wonderful sense of the exotic. It was important to reflect that, while also maintaining the casual atmosphere of a beach-front cottage.”
The article was written by Jennifer Ash Rudick who has a new book Out East: Houses and Gardens of the Hamptons with photos by Tria Giovan that will be published on July 4, 2017. A perfect hostess gift for your own weekend out east.
I’ve also added more photo of the gardens to this post from another article in Vogue from last summer. Enjoy!
