Yvon Lambert in Avignon

The art world mourned when Yvon Lambert closed his gallery in 2014, a small bookshop remains open, but they have reason to smile again. The legendary art dealer has recently opened a 40,000-square-foot space in Avignon that will house his contemporary art collection that he generously donated to France. Of course, the house he bought in 1995 interests me more than the galleries. The pale blue walls and red tile floors of the dining room are infinitely inspiring.
