I’ve always admired Carolyne Roehm‘s life and style but I admire it even more after reading her recently One Kings Lane profile. While her life may seem perfect, she’s endured a very public divorce and had her beloved house Weatherstone burn to the ground after an electrical fire. Both have risen like a Phoenix out of the ashes to be even better than before. Her new book, At Home in the Garden, is one of her best and would make a perfect holiday gift for anyone who loved gardens and flowers.
“If you can create a landscape that doesn’t only come to life in spring, it will be a source of pleasure—even when it’s too cold to venture out.” – Carolyne Roehm
