Someone posted one of my photos from Alexa Hampton’s Study in Contrasts bedroom for Mark Hampton LLC from the 2012 Kips Bay Decorator Show House this morning and it reminded me how much I love this room. It’s not just a great example of how you can decorate with traditional and classic elements in a contemporary space but how timeless design can still look fresh three years later. The fur throw on the bed is also a great way to take transition your white bed linens to colder weather.  Perfect for the freezing cold temperatures in New York right now.
