New York is all dressed up for autumn and Halloween right now. The Upper East Side gets very into decorating for Halloween and some of the decorations are seriously scary. I prefer the chic and subtle approach and thought I would share some of my favorites with you as well as some turning leaves.

Happy Halloween!

This type of seasonal decorations can last through Thanksgiving.

I joked that this is the only thing not decorated for Halloween on the Upper East Side.

Can you see the hands reaching out of the planters?  These are the most original decorations uptown.

These pumpkins make me smile every October.
