Today marks the first day of fall and the chill in the air means it’s officially sweater weather. C magazine featured some of the best knitwear of the season in their September issue.  If the Oscar de la Renta Cable Knit Sweater above is a little out of your price range, you could try the Ivory Cable Crew from Billy Reid.

I love the color of this Bottega Veneta Wool Sweater but Net-a-Porter only offers it in a merlot color. The J.Crew Collection Stitch Sweater is another alternative.

I love the nutmeg color of this Donna Karan Belted Officer Coat but you could also try this option from McQ Alexander McQueen or the Stadium Cloth Hooded Coat from J.Crew.

I was really happy I took my Everlane Cashmere Cardigan to Paris for the changeable weather. It looks very similar to this one by Brunello Cucinelli.

 

I can’t find this exact Michael Kors cardigan sweater online but it looks similar to this Michael Kors Cable Sweater and Seed Stitch Sweater from Everlane.

This amazing ivory Alpaca Hand-knit Sweater is from Oscar de la Renta but I also love the Crochet Knit Sweater from Stella McCartney.
