I received an email from Net-a-Porter this morning informing me that their sale sections were now up to 70% off. That’s a pretty enticing offer. As I was checking out the options, I thought it might be fun to choose some of my favorites and create three summer outfits for you.
The first is a summer cocktail event which includes the coral Cedric Charlier Pique Dress above. The exposed zipper down the back is always a fun design element too.
I’d pair the dress with these fabulous Kenneth Jay Lane Earrings which are a steal at only $17!
The perfect complement would be this Jimmy Choo Gold and Patchwork Clutch.
If the cocktail event is outside, you definitely need a chic pair of shades. I love this tortoise pair by The Row that are half off.
I originally picked out a plain pair of shoes but these Nicholas Kirkwood Sandals pick up all the colors in the dress, bag and earrings and are a more fun alternative.
For a summer day at the beach or a polo match, I love this white Collette by Collette Dinnigan Linen and Lace Maxi Dress. At only $268, it’s another great bargain.
If you’re going to be out in the sun, you’re going to need a hat. I love this Color Blocked Straw Hat from Lanvin.

This Michael Kors Raffia Tote would be perfect for carrying your sunscreen and reading materials.
For something completely chic to finish the look, try this Gucci Beach Towel.
Dressing for day in the summer can be hard. You couldn’t wear this outfit if you worked for a bank but it’s perfect for creative people who need to look polished but also remain cool in the city. It starts with this Erdem Frayed Silk Top.
Shorts are a great alternative to shirts and I love this pleated pair by Miu Miu that are half off.
You could jazz up this or any all black outfit with this yellow patterned and resin necklace from Etro.
I love mixing black and navy and this pair of sandals with a stacked heel from Marni would be perfect for walking in the city.
